Illustration design and Layout of the book cover

For this book cover, I did some research on what was the story of the book. From that research, I began some sketches for the illustration on the cover and chose 3 of the best, to be able to chose the final sketch that will become the cover. The final sketch was then, reproduced in color. After the color sketch was done, I had to research some images for the background and the mirror, that was looking similar to the sketch. The main character was done using what is called a scratchboard. The final result was done using Photoshop.

Once the illustration was done, the research for the color and the font for the book cover began. I did 4 layout design, which resulted in chosing one and then, doing all the sides of the cover, with the right colors and fonts.
